Coated Gloves A cloth glove which has been dipped into molten coating material.
Unsupported Gloves A ceramic form is dipped into molten material, dried and peeled off the form.
Jersey Lined The inner glove is of brushed cotton.
Flock Lined The inside of an unsupported glove is dusted with fine cotton fibers for moisture absorption and easy on-off.
Impregnated Latex, Nitrile, PVC, Rubber and/or Vinyl, is coated and also actually absorbed into and penetrates the textile.  Impregnated gloves are not liquid resistant.
Kevlar® Kevlar® is renowned for its strength and protection ability. It is five times stronger then steel pound for pound and is used for protection and stitching glove seams
Thinsulate™ Thinsulate™ is a micro- fiber fabric developed by 3M that provides insulation from hot or cold temperatures. While maintaining the temperature of your hand in the glove, Thinsulate™ also allows moisture to escape from your hand to keep you dry.
Easy-I.D.™ Color coded fabric tag sewn in the side hem of the glove to provide easy size identification.
N-Dex® Exclusive patented, low-modulus formulation, non-latex gloves that produce superior levels of tactile-sensitivity, comfort, dexterity and puncture resistance.  Useful in a wide variety of applications.

Surface Finish Definitions:

Smooth The inside glove is singed with heat before dipping to remove the small imperfections which are natural on knitted cloth. This results in a smooth surface on the finished glove.
Rough The inside glove is un-singed, so that the finished surface has a rough appearance.
Embossed/Textured The form used for dipping into the molten material has an embossed or textured pattern, so that when the glove is turned right side out, the surface has the desired pattern.

Leather Definitions:

Cuff Part of the glove that extends beyond the palm, covering the wrist and part of the forearm.
Gauntlet A very long cuff that extends over the forearm for added protection.
Grain The outside of the leather (side that had the hair).  Full grain has the original surface.
Gunn Cut A glove with seams at the base of the fingers and between-finger seams on the back of the glove.
Split Thick pieces of leather are split into two thinner pieces; the bottom piece is the split, which is suede on both sides.  The top piece has grain (top grain).
